Forty exhibitors, three stages and a record crowd — this year’s Winter Tech Expo was our biggest day yet. The main stage opened with back-to-back launches, the mezzanine labs ran twelve workshops at full capacity, and the demo floor never had a quiet hour.
Launch of the year
The evening awards mixer crowned a pocket-sized 3D scanner built by a three-person studio as launch of the year, with the audience-choice prize going to an open-source game engine demo that had queues all afternoon. Congratulations to every team that exhibited — the standard keeps rising.
